BS Data Science 4-Years Degree Program
This program produces individuals who are able to collect and transform raw data into a useful format, extract useful insights, find hidden patterns, and develop data products which can add value to the businesses. The curriculum for this program is designed to equip students with the cutting-edge skills required to satisfy the global demand for Data Scientist roles and thus build a rewarding career.
The graduates of this program will not only be able to design software by applying mathematical and scientific principles, but will also be equipped with knowledge and skills of data science, ranging from data acquisition, integration, storage,analysis and visualization of data. Students will also learn about data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning by working collaboratively with academics and businesses, applying practice-based skills to real-life case studies and projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com with any one of the following subjects: Computer Science / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Physics / Commerce, DAE, A-Level or equivalent with 50% marks
- SCET recognized/valid aptitude test (NAT / ECAT).
Documents to be submitted:
A candidate, who is eligible for admission, must submit attested copies of the following documents:
- SSC or equivalent foreign qualification certificate (Two copies).
- HSSC or an equivalent foreign qualification certificate (Two copies).
- SSC Result Card (Two copies)
- HSSC Result Card (Two copies)
- CNIC/Form B of the candidate (Two copies).
- CNIC of Father/Spouse/Guardian (one copy).
- Eight Recent Passport Size color Photographs.
- Photocopy of Domicile.
NOTE:
- It does not include the final year project, examination fees, and any traveling fees.
- All documents / transcripts will be checked at the time of admission.
- Any incorrect/false information submitted by the applicant or any attempt to hide information will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
