The WWF-Pakistan (World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan) is a leading environmental conservation organization in Pakistan, established in 1970 as part of the global WWF network. Over the past five decades, WWF-Pakistan has been at the forefront of nature conservation in the country, initiating numerous projects and programs aimed at preserving biodiversity, promoting environmental education, and advocating for sustainable development.
WWF-Pakistan has arranged a one day consultation sessions with the stakeholders of their ongoing project of “Alliance or Water Stewardship” at Rahim yar Khan.
Engr. Dr. Muhammad Rizwan (Associate Professor and Head of Department, Civil Engineering Swedish College of Engineering and Technology, Rahim yar Khan) attended this consultation session on the invitation from Engr. Sohail Ali Naqvi, Director Freshwater programme at WWF-Pakistan.
It was a very informative and fruitful consultation session as different stakeholders from industry, academia, departments and NGOs talked about the importance of water and the ways to conserve and wisely use it.
